Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
Socialit publishes to social networks on your behalf. To keep everyone safe and keep our network connections healthy, you agree to these rules whenever you post through Socialit. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
The simple version
Post things you would be happy to put your own name on. Follow the law and follow the rules of every network you post to. Do not use Socialit to harm, deceive, or spam people.
What is allowed
- Content you created or have the rights to use.
- Marketing, updates, and personal posts for accounts you own or manage with permission.
- Anything that follows the law and the terms of the networks you post to.
What is not allowed
- Illegal content: anything that breaks the law where you or your audience are.
- Hate and harassment: content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on who they are, or that bullies or threatens.
- Violence: threats, incitement, or glorification of violence or terrorism.
- Child safety: any content that sexualizes or endangers minors. Zero tolerance.
- Spam: bulk, repetitive, or misleading posting designed to game a network.
- Deception: impersonation, fake identities, scams, or fraud.
- Malware and abuse: links to malware, phishing, or attempts to break a network's systems.
- Stolen content: posting work you do not own or have permission to use.
- Restricted goods: content that breaks a network's rules on regulated or prohibited products.
Content moderation
We keep moderation simple and consistent so everyone is treated the same way:
- We may review content that is reported or flagged by our automated checks.
- We act on the rules above, not on opinions or viewpoints.
- Each social network also runs its own moderation. Following our rules does not guarantee a network will accept a post.
How we enforce
Depending on what happened and how serious it is, we may:
- Block or remove a specific post.
- Pause your ability to publish while we look into it.
- Suspend or close your account for serious or repeated breaks.
- Report illegal content to the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
For severe cases, such as child safety violations, we act immediately and without warning.
Staying aligned
These rules can change as networks update their own policies and as new risks appear. We will keep this page current. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask us first at support@socialit.com before you post.
Reporting a problem
